1. Up-gradation of ITIs under World Bank Assisted Vocational Training Improvement Project (VTIP)
- World Bank assisted project for up-gradation of Govt. ITIs in the state, initiated in year 2006.
- Funding provided for up-gradation of ITIs i.e. construction of new CoE buildings & modernization of machinery, tools and equipment.
- Funding pattern in 75:25 ratio between Centre Govt. & State Govt.
- Out of total budgetary allocation of Rs. 67.05 Crore (Central share Rs. 50.29 Cr. & State share of Rs. 16.76 Cr) received under this scheme, funds amounting to Rs 67.05 Cr. have been fully utilized.
- 16 Govt. ITIs have been upgraded under this project (List below).

2. Institute for Training of Trainers (IToT) at Rohtak
- Institute for Training of Trainers (IToT) at Rohtak has been set up under World Bank assisted scheme.
- This is a centrally sponsored project (75% Central Share + 25% State Share) with World Bank assistance and budget allocation of Rs 7.0 Cr under this scheme has been fully utilized.
- The institute conducts courses under Modular Pattern of Crafts Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) for preparing ITI instructors in trades of Turner, Fitter & Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
- IToT Rohtak has started functioning from September 2015 session with annual intake of 240 instructor trainees.
