Growth of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs)

In the year 1966, when the State of Haryana came into being, there were only 48 Government ITIs with a total seating capacity of 7,156. At present, the State has 383 Government & Private ITIs offering training in 91 different trades.

The quality of training in ITIs is continuously being upgraded through improvements in curriculum, training methodology, and capacity building of trainers in collaboration with Industry Sector Councils under Government of India. New trades are also being introduced in line with market demand to improve employability.
